PITTSBURGH - Franklin & Marshall's volleyball team dropped its fourth match in as many outings, falling 3-1 to Carnegie Mellon in the first round of the Tartans' Invitational on Friday evening. Game scores were 30-18, 28-30, 30-21, 30-22.

Margot Phelan recorded 17 kills, 13 digs, a pair of aces, and an assisted block in the match, while Valerie Pusateri set up 34 kills, and bailed F&M out with 10 digs. She also had a pair of kills and a pair of service aces.

Nicole Morano had eight kills and three blocks, while Samantha Evans recorded 12 digs.

Franklin & Marshall falls to 13-8 with the loss. The Diplomats return to action tomorrow with matches at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
