Diplomats Defeat Bryn Mawr

BRYN MAWR, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall swept second through sixth singles and all three doubles matches to pick up an 8-1 road win over Bryn Mawr Friday afternoon. Franklin & Marshall improved to 10-3 (7-1 CC) with the win, while Bryn Mawr fell to 3-12 (1-6 CC).

Dana Russo (10-5) and Jenna Ishkanian (9-2) each won their third consecutive match in singles competition. Russo needed three sets for her win at fourth singles, while Ishkanian needed just 13 games for her win in the fifth spot. Christina Henkel took her second in a row at sixth singles with a 6-1; 6-2 win over Anna Dejdar.

Bryn Mawr's only win came at first singles. Karen Ginsburg (6-8) defeated Katie Gaskins 6-3; 6-2.

Franklin & Marshall returns to the courts next Wednesday against Muhlenberg.
