LANCASTER, Pa. - The Gettysburg women's tennis team won two doubles matches and then relied on three victories in singles play to edge Franklin & Marshall 5-4 in Centennial Conference (CC) action on Tuesday.

In the conference and home opener for the Diplomats (1-3, 0-1 CC), the Bullets (5-3, 1-3 CC) used three sets in each of the singles victory for their first CC win of the season.

Jenna Ishkanian teamed up with Cecily Koss for F&M's lone double win with a score of 8-3. Ishkanian also earned a 6-3, 6-0 singles victory over Meghan Kelly. Kelsey Tylus posted the same score to defeat Mary McConnell at No. 6 singles.

Dani Barish picked up the third singles victory for the Diplomats with a 6-2, 7-5 win over Katie Taylor.

Ali Moyer and Kelly Eurich were double winners for Gettysburg.

F&M returns to action on Saturday at No. 14 Johns Hopkins. Match time is 11 a.m.
