Women's Squash Slides by Smith

LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's women's squash team picked up its third win in four matches, knocking off Smith College 8-1 in the consolation bracket of the Epps Cup at the Howe Cup Competition. The win was the Diplomats (3-13) second over Smith (0-20) this season, and gave F&M the right to face Haverford on Sunday for the 29th ranking in the nation. The Diplomats split the two regular season meetings with Haverford.

F&M dropped the first position, but owned the next eight positions, winning seven matches 3-0. Alexandra Feldman needed four games to pick up a win at No. 7. She defeated Jasmine Wallas 9-4, 9-10, 9-4, 9-1. Tracey Sole dropped just two points in her 9-0, 9-2, 9-0 win over Huong Nguyen at No. 3.

F&M will look to take the rubber match from Haverford tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
