SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Kirsten Peterson tallied both goals and Hannah Purkey recorded an assist to lead Swarthmore over Franklin & Marshall 2-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer action on Saturday.

The Garnet (12-2-1, 7-2-1 CC) held a 24-6 shot advantage, connecting on one in each half from Peterson to collect their seventh conference win.

Erin Roy posted eight saves in the loss for the Diplomats (8-6-2, 5-5 CC).

Purkey assisted Peterson at the 26:53 mark in the opening stanza for a 1-0 lead. Purkey sent a ball into the middle of the box for Peterson to finish for the game winner.

Peterson struck again with a bouncing shot over Roy in the 55th minute for a two-goal edge.
