LANCASTER, Pa. - Amy Cawley scored the game-winning goal in the 68th minute to lead Franklin & Marshall women's soccer team over Muhlenberg 1-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) action on Saturday.

Cawley beat two defenders and took the ball wide to eventually slide it past goalkeeper Kate Morrissey for the lone goal of the game at the 67:59 mark, giving the Diplomats (8-5-2, 5-4 CC) their fifth conference victory.

The Mules posted a 15-7 edge in shots and an 8-0 in advantage in corner kicks, but Franklin & Marshall held on to defeat Muhlenberg for the third time since 1993 by a 1-0 score.

Erin Roy recorded six saves, including key stops down the stretch to collect her seventh shut out for the Diplomats.

F&M will conclude its regular season on Saturday at Swarthmore. Game time is 4 p.m.
