Women's Soccer Edges Bryn Mawr, 1-0

BRYN MAWR, Pa. - Athena Manolakos scored the game-winning goal in the 77th minute to lead Franklin & Marshall past Bryn Mawr 1-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer action on Saturday. Manolakos netted her first goal of the season and Kathryn Daniels dished out her team-leading fourth assist to help the Diplomats (5-3-2, 2-2 CC) defeat the Owls (3-6-1, 0-4 CC). F&M fired off 23 shots, while the defense only allowed two from Bryn Mawr all afternoon. Collette Pullion made 14 saves in the loss for the Owls. The Diplomats return to action on Saturday at McDaniel. Game time is 1 p.m. |
