ADA, Ohio - Franklin & Marshall junior Alyssa Catalano finished 13th in the weight throw at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships at the ONU Sportscenter on Friday afternoon.

Catalano finished seventh in the second flight of the first round with a distance of 51.0 to come in 13th overall in her first appearance at the national championships.

St. Thomas senior Carol Comp became the first Indoor National Champion of 2008 when she won the women's 20-pound weight throw with a distance of 56-10.25. She entered the day with the 10th best qualifying distance and topped her season-best throw by over two and a half feet.
