ITHACA, N.Y. - Charlie Bowen recorded the highest finish for Franklin & Marshall men's indoor track & field team, taking third place in the 600m with a time of 1:30.24 at the Cornell Invitational on Saturday.

Megan Hunter was the top runner for the women's squad, finishing fourth in the 600m (1:42.32), sixth in the 400m (1:00.43) and ninth in the 200m (27.20).

Jake Gomolinski and Steven Tracy came in fifth and sixth, respectively, in the 200m. Gomolinski ran 23.44 and Tracy was three hundredths of a second behind with a time of 23.47. Gomolinski also earned ninth in the 400m (52.84).

Jared Pickell followed Bowen in the 600m with seventh overall (1:32.65). In the field events, Kwaku Anno led the Diplomats in the long jump with fourth place (21-05) and Freddy Martino took ninth in the triple jump with a distance of 42-08.25.

In the shot put, Alyssa Catalano came in sixth with a throw of 38-00 before recording a distance of 46-10.25 in the weight throw. Erin Gleason made a toss of 38-02.75 for fifth in the shot put and first on the team.

Nicole DiBenedetto earned the final top 10 finish for the women with seventh in the 5000m race (19:24.56).

The Diplomats return to action on Saturday at Princeton. Meet time is 10 a.m.
