GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Franklin & Marshall women's golf team finished in seventh place amongst the seven competing teams at the Gettysburg Invitational on Tuesday. Kutztown walked to the win with a 32-stroke margin on the field. Dickinson took second, followed by the hosts.

Grace Gallagher was the Diplomats top finisher. Her 105 on the 72 Links at Gettysburg was good enough for 18th place. She was the only F&M golfer to register a top 20 finish. Dickinson's Kaitlin Van Wagner was the tournament's individual medalist having shot an 81 (+9). She beat Kutztown's Bethany Adam's by a pair of strokes. KU had all five of its players finish in the top seven. Gettysburg's Merrill Fortier interrupted the run on second through seventh places with a fourth place finish.

F&M's Meaghan Eyler took 23rd, followed by Caroline Hailey in a tie for 26th place. Lindsay Mummert placed 31st in the 38-golfer field. Franklin & Marshall returns to action on Saturday for the first of two rounds of the Centennial Conference Championships at Pilgrim's Oak in Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania.
