Box Score

LANCASTER, Pa. - The seventh-ranked Johns Hopkins scored two second-half goals in a five-minute span to defeat No. 18 Franklin & Marshall 2-0 in Centennial Conference field hockey action.

Gabi Henn and Katie Wong both scored with less than 20 minutes left in the game to help the Blue Jays (10-2, 6-0 CC) remain undefeated in conference play.

Henn finished a scramble in front of the cage off a feed from Emily Miller from the right side in the 55th minute, proving to be the game winner.

Four minutes, 41 seconds later, Wong mimicked Henn with her first goal of the season amongst a scuffle thanks to an assist from Leah Horton to make it 2-0.

Jennifer Burdo made four saves for the Diplomats (8-4, 4-2 CC), who were outshot by a slight 11-9 margin. Sophia Tieu also collected four saves to preserve the shutout.

F&M returns to action on Saturday against Haverford, beginning at 2 p.m.
