Meisenberg Named CC Player Of The Week, Again!

LANCASTER, Pa. - Sarah Meisenberg, a member of the Franklin & Marshall women's basketball team, has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Player of the Week, while being honored on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for the third time this season.

Meisenberg averaged 24.5 points, 6.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 steals to help the Diplomats post two crucial conference victories last week, securing home-court advantage for the CC tournament. She also shot 50 percent from the field and 76 percent from the line in 79 minutes of play.

Meisenberg scored 24 points, tying a career high with a 13-for-15 showing from the free-throw line against Gettysburg. She then recorded 25 points, six assists and five steals in the win over Dickinson.

She has not budged from the top spot in the CC in scoring (18.4 ppg), free-throw percentage (.797) and steals (3.20), while ranking second in assists (4.84) and third in field-goal percentage (.506)

F&M will host the CC playoffs this weekend and face the winner of the first-round game between No. 4 Gettysburg and No. 5 McDaniel in the second semifinal at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
