BRYN MAWR, Pa. - Cara Landolfi and Beth Holt had career days with 20 and 17 points, respectively, to lead Franklin & Marshall over Bryn Mawr 66-49 in Centennial Conference (CC) women's basketball action on Saturday.

With the win, the Diplomats (17-6, 12-4 CC) secured a berth in the upcoming CC tournament for the first time since the 2004 season.

Brittany Braxton scored 12 points and pulled down 13 boards for her second straight and fourth double-double of the season.

Katie Driscoll led the Owls (5-19, 2-17 CC) with 16 points, knocking in four three pointers.

In similar fashion to the first meeting between the two teams, F&M jumped out to a commanding 35-19 first-half lead and never looked back for its 12th conference victory.

Holding a 14-7 lead at the 10-minute mark, the Diplomats closed out the half on a 21-12 run and getting a perfect 4-for-4 performance from the field by Holt, three of which were from behind the arc.

Landolfi opened up the second half with six straight in-the-paint points to give F&M its largest lead of the game at 41-20 with 17:24 left to play. The closest Bryn Mawr could get was 12 points on four occasions.

The Diplomats return to action on Wednesday against Gettysburg. Game time is 6 p.m.
