BOSTON - Amherst turned the tables on Franklin & Marshall, knocking off the Diplomats' men's squash team 6-3 in the 15-16 match at the CSA Team Championships on Sunday. The Lord Jeffs' (10-11) win avenged a 6-3 loss to the Diplomats (9-12) back in January.

F&M was competing in the Hoehn Cup bracket for places nine through 16 in the national rankings. The Diplomats entered ranked 14th, but fell on Friday to Cornell and on Saturday to Brown.

F&M's wins came at No. 1, No. 8, and No. 9. Sadiq Madraswala's win at No. 1 was his second in as many matches against Amherst this season. He defeated Mark Rapisarda 9-3, 3-9, 9-3, 4-9, 9-7. Zarir Aibara won at No. 8 in four games (9-6, 9-0, 4-9, 9-2), while Ketan Patel won at No. 9 9-5, 9-2, 9-6.

The Diplomats return to action next weekend for the CSA Individual Championships, which will be contested at the Naval Academy.
