ANNVILLE, Pa. - Megan Hunter and Alyssa Catalano earned two first-place finishes to lead the Franklin & Marshall women's indoor track & field team at the Lebanon Valley Invitational on Saturday.

Kwaku Anno and Ryan Bell grabbed first place in the long jump and the mile, respectively, for the Diplomats men's team. Anno hit the 6.27m mark in the long jump and also took third in the high jump (1.82m). Bell led the pack in the mile with a time of 4:43.69.

Hunter crossed the finish line first in the 200m (27.73) and 400m (1:02.06), while Catalano paced the women in the field events with the top finish in the shot put (12.01m) and weight throw (13.63m). Erin Gleason threw 11.02 in the shot put and 11.99m in the weight throw for third in both events.

Jake Gomolinski competed in three events, finishing in the top 10 in each. He earned second placed in the 200m and 400m with times of 24.23 and 54.83, respectively. Gomolinski ran 6.82 in the 55m dash for seventh overall. Steven Tracey was the second F&M runner to finish in the top 10 in the 200m, taking fifth with a time of 24.86.

Mike Arnold and Mike Del Rossi placed third in the 55m hurdles and weight throw, respectively. Arnold ran 8.29, while Del Rossi threw 13.37m and then hit the distance of 11.97m in the shot put for sixth overall.

In the 800m race, Josh Laster took sixth (2:10.16) and Pavel Marossine finished eighth (2.10.75).

For the women, Shannon Weir and Nicole DiBenedetto each claimed a third-place finish. Weir ran 2:36.70 in the 800m and DiBenedetto clocked in at 5:42.08 in the mile. Rachel Suydam followed Weir in the 800m with a sixth-place finish (2.38.20).

The 5000m race featured Amy Burke for the Diplomats. She earned seventh with a time of 21.21.21.

F&M returns to action on Saturday at the Delaware Invitational. Meet time is 10 a.m.
