LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall freshmen Randy Boll and Steve Colalillo each shot a 70 to pace the Diplomats to victory in the 19-team Bent Creek Invitational. The Diplomats held a 17-stroke advantage on the field, having shot a school record 286.

The tournament win was F&M's third this fall, and marks the second time the Diplomats have established a new school record for low round. The previous record of 294 was reached at both the Wesley and Lebanon Valley Invitationals earlier this fall.

Boll and Colalillo tied with Keystone's Sean Misstishin for first place, each finishing the 6, 232-yard, par 71 course at Bent Creek Country Club one shot under par. Misstishin took the medal on the match of cards. The pair of 70's represents F&M's lowest individual rounds through the six played this fall.

F&M fielded two teams in the tournament, with the second team taking third place behind Neumann. The Diplomats "White" team shot a 305, two strokes off of Neumann's 305. Muhlenberg (309) and York (311) rounded out the top five teams.

Six F&M golfers finished up in the top ten. Joining Boll and Colalillo were Andrew Woods (T4-72) and Chuck Anttonen (T9-74) from F&M's "Blue" Team. Anttonen shared ninth place with the "White" team entries, Seth Andrie and Rob Moriarty, each having carded a 74. Kevin Penhallegon of the White team also finished in the top 20 in an eight-way tie for 14th place with a 78.
