LEBANON, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall had two golfers involved in the three-way tie for first place at the Lebanon Valley College Fall Golf Tournament on Monday. Franklin & Marshall carded a 294 to finish in first place, 13 strokes ahead of the 20-team field. Randy Boll and Andrew Woods each shot a 71 on the par 72 Lebanon Country Club Course to tie with Alvernia's Derek Stewart. Boll was the tournament's medalist on the tiebreaker.

The 294 matches the score F&M posted in winning the Wesley Fall Invitational, and ties the school record set in that round. In addition to Boll and Woods' finish at the top of the leaderboard, Franklin & Marshall had a third golfer in the top ten. Dennis Gunderson shot a 74 (+2) to finish in a two-way tie for seventh place. Joseph Fucigna rounded out the scoring foursome for the Diplomats, shooting a 78 (+6) to finish in a six-way tie for 17th.

Boll's 71 marks a five shot improvement from his previous low round in his fourth event of the year. He and Woods matched Gunderson's 71 at the Wesley Invitational for the lowest round shot by a Diplomat this season.

Franklin & Marshall returns to action on October 8, when the Diplomats host the Bent Creek Invitational.
