Golfers Take Wesley Invitational
Sept. 10, 2007 DOVER, Del. - The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team established a new school record, shooting a 294 to win the Wesley Invitational played out on the par 72, Wild Quail Golf Club. The Diplomats produced the tournament's individual medalist in Dennis Gunderson, who shot one-under with a 71 for the victory. Andrew Woods tied for second place with an even par 72. A match of cards left him fourth in the final tally. Bryan Hartog tied for sixth place with a 73 (+1). The win marks the first time the Diplomats have taken a tournament from Wesley on their home course. Franklin & Marshall returns to action this weekend at the Ted Keller Invitational hosted by Randolph-Macon College. |
