ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - Three members of Franklin & Marshall's men's golf team, Chuck Anttonen, Randy Boll, and Steve Colalillo, are tied for fifth place in the field of 35 at the 2008 Centennial Conference Golf Championships. The Diplomats shaved 15 shots off of its Friday round to climb two spots into third place in the team standings, but still trails Muhlenberg by 16 strokes, and McDaniel by 12.

Boll and Colallio, both freshman, showed considerable improvement in their Saturday scores. Colalillo shot an 82 on Friday, but trimmed nine shots with a 73 on Saturday. Meanwhile, Boll went from a round of 81 on Friday to a 74 on Saturday for a total of 155 shots. Anttonen remained steady having shot a 78 on Friday and a 77 on Saturday. The trio of Diplomats are tied with McDaniel's Zach LaVoie and Muhlenberg's Bill Snow for fifth place.

Muhlenberg's Bill Snow currently sits at the top of the leaderboard at six-over through 36 holes. He gave four shots back on Saturday with a 77. Dickinson's Joey Goldstein and McDnaiel's Steve Meier have carded two round totals of 152 to tie for second place.

Joseph Fucigna shot an 81 on Saturday, leaving him in 19th place, while Andrew Woods shot his second 81 of the tournament to hold down 24th place.

The third and final round will be played tomorrow.
