MOOSIC, Pa. - Joseph Fucigna's April hot-streak continued this weekend at Glenmauara National Golf Club. The Franklin & Marshall sophomore shot a 77 in both rounds of the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational, which wrapped up Monday. Fucigna's 154 was matched by teammate Andrew Woods, tying the Diplomats for tenth place in the field of 60. F&M finished in third place tie with York amongst the 12 teams competing on the par 71, 6,339-yard course.

Fucigna's April tear has featured six rounds over four tournaments. He has shot in the 70's in each of those rounds, and has finished in the top ten of each of the tournaments. Woods shot a 78 and a 76 at Glenmaura, and is finding his groove again, having shot a 78 or better in each of his final three rounds heading into this weekend's Centennial Conference Championships at The Bridges Golf Club in Abbottstown, Pa.

Centennial foe, McDaniel, won the team title turning in a combined 599 (307-292) for 21 strokes on second place Susquehanna (312-308-620), and 25 strokes on F&M (313-311-624) in third. McDaniel had three players finish in the top ten with Zach LaVoie (72-74-176) and Steve Meier (77-71-178) taking second and third palce. Susquehanna's Scott Cruff and Pat Serfass served as bookends for the Green Terror duo with Cruff claiming the individual medal, and Serfass (76-72-148) tying for third. Cruff shot a 145 (71-74).

The Diplomats' Randy Boll (79-81-160) tied for 21st place, followed by Seth Andrie (85-77-162) in a tie for 27th and Steve Colalillo (79-85-164). F&M has been competing without the services of Chuck Antonnen and Dennis Gunderson for the better part of the Spring.

F&M and York were followed by Muhlenberg (318-310-628) in fifth place, while Gettysburg (329-315-644) and Scranton (329-315-644) held down sixth. The Centennial's Swarthmore (333-346-679) placed 11th.

The Diplomats return to action on Friday for the first of three rounds of the Centennial Conference Championship Tournament.
